Biblio Welcomes Booksellers Disenfranchised by AbeBooks

Biblio remains proud to be an independent alternative to Amazon for rare booksellers and collectors around the globe.

ASHEVILLE, North Carolina., November 5, 2018 — Biblio.com is extending a special signing offer to independent booksellers around the world.

In the wake of the decision by Amazon subsidiary Abebooks to remove sellers based in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, and South Korea, all booksellers (new and existing) who list on Biblio from those countries will have their listing fees completely waived until that decision is reversed. In addition, all new booksellers from any country will have zero listing fees for their first six months on our lowest commission tier of 8% if they join by December 1, 2018.

Biblio is the world’s largest independent marketplace for used, rare, and out of print books listed by thousands of independent booksellers from 75 nations. We will continue to host sellers from across the globe, and we welcome the opportunity to partner with additional independent sellers of used, rare, and antiquarian books.

Booksellers interested in taking advantage of this offer must sign up by December 1st, 2018 and address an email to bookseller-support@biblio.com with “Sellers all over the world” in the subject line of the message. Biblio also welcomes booksellers who have sold through Biblio’s platform in the past to get back online at the same reduced commission rate offered to new sign-ups.
