W letterhead - measuring 4 by 6 inches. Virginia moved to Fitzroy with her brother Adrian in 1907. This important letter was written under her "maiden name" to art historian and literary critic, Clive Bell, noted for his marriage to Vanessa Bell and his life-long relationship with Virginia and Leonard Woolf and the Bloomsbury Group.
