About This Item
Consolidated Book Publishers, Chicago, 1945. These are 15 little books, 8.75" X 6" in illustrated paper covers with staple binding. Some show a little shelf wear or very minor soil. I would rate them GOOD PLUS to VERY GOOD MINUS condition. Each 48-page booklet covers a different topic: HOW TO DECORATE GAME AND HOBBY ROOMS, HOW TO MAKE YOUR CURTAINS AND DRAPERIES, HOW TO DECORATE YOUR BATHROOM, HOW TO DECORATE BOYS' AND GIRLS' ROOMS, ETC, ETC. These booklets are nicely illustrated in black and white. They are particularly interesting because they reflect taste in decorating 75 years ago. Ms koues was Director of the Studio of Architecture, Building and Furnishing for GOOD HOUSEKEEPING MAGAZINE. Altogether 720pp.. 1st Edition. Soft cover. Good/No Jacket.
