1948. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Oblong Format 10.5" X 11'5. Alan Withy. This is a souvenir brochure produced for the No.2 Mechanical Equipment (Transportation) Units of the Royal Engineers who were instrumental in providing solutions to the transportation requirements of the Army following D Day in North West Europe. A detailed brochure illustrated with photographs of the damage caused by the RAF or retreating Germans together with drawings of the units at work with their heavy equipment. Very good in blue cloth with title to top board which has some trivial damp staining to its top. No publication details and date of publication assumed from th eline drawings some of which are dated 1948. Uncommon with no record found in online COPAC.
