Color Illustrations; Folio 13" - 23" tal; (6 maps of Egypt/Africa) 1) Africa According to the Best Authorities, ca 1811, Mathew Carey, Phila. 33.5 x 36cm. With wide margins, colored in outline. VG. 2) Egypt With Libya; 1738, D'Annville, removed from Rollins 1768 "History of the Arts and Sciences", 24.5 x 33 cm. Some offsetting and spotting, with 1" repair at right margins. 3) Africa, Including the Island of St. Helena, 1874, removed from Gray's Atlas, 33 x 37.5 cm. Hand colored. A few small edge tears and margins trimmed. 4 through 6) West Africa, North and South Africa, and Egypt with Part of Nubia, ca 1850, removed from an unknown atlas. Hand-colored. Approx 29.5 x 35.5 cm. Margins trimmed close, else vg. All mounted on plastic covered foam board with full details on the back. .
