As issued, in gray cloth with dust jacket. A bright, fresh copy in similarly sharp jacket. This copy additionally signed and inscribed by Divine on the front free endpaper: "To / . . . / May you ever be mindful / of the valor of the Confederate / Soldier / John E. Divine / 12-16-83." Given the 1984 publication date this was obviously presented by Divine "fresh off the press.
