P ictorial endpapers. Illustrated with reproductions of the original bla ck & white engravings that accompanied the original publication of the se stories in Harper's Magazine. A Near fine copy. Light dusting to th e spine. Small bumps to the lower corners. Former owner's name and the date are inked in the second fly leaf's right corner. The decorated s lipcase is in Good condition. It is starting to split and tear at the base of its spine. Dust soiling and tanning to the slipcase. .
