Both books are bound in red leather, with leather spine and corners and red cloth over a portion of the boards. The page edges are gilt. Slight wear is evident to the edges of the spine and corners, with the corners just slightly starting to wear through and slightly bumped. The front hinge of volume 2 is starting to crack a bit, but still holding firmly. The pages are clean and the bindings are tight. Very scarce in deluxe red leather bindings. .
