"Nouvelle Edition Entierement Refondue." Tall 8vo, late 19th Century red morocco and marbled boards by Bertrand, raised bands, gilt lettering and elaborate designs in spine compartments, t. E. G. , text untrimmed, enhanced with the insertion of nearly 30 engraved plates, mostly portraits. Binding strong with gilt bright, minor wear at joints and edges, front hinge lightly cracked, some dusting along bulked edges, text nice and clean, brief aging; very lengthy and detailed late 19th Century printed catalog entry mounted at front pastedown. .
