New York: E. P. Dutton & Company, 1917. Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, London -- so signed with a stamp in bright gold at the foot of the front inside cover. SEE PHOTOS. Full dark green crushed levant morocco, front and rear covers with triple gilt ruled borders and corner pieces. Spine with five raised bands decoratively gilt tooled/lettered within 6 compartments. Gilt ruled board edges. Handsome gilt inside dentelles (i.e. all 4 borders eloborately decorated with gilt lacy pattern at inner edges]. Spine with five raised bands and 6 compartments brightly gilt tooled/lettered. Near Fine condition (only lightly rubbed). Spine has uniformly mellowed to a pleasing brown. Outer pages with minor foxing. SEE PHOTOS. 4.75" wide by 6.25" tall. NO owner's name or bookplate. Sharp corners. Pages are clean and unmarked. The Hunting Alphabet, with many letters A - Z illustrated with a full page b/w plate after paintings by Richard Newton, Jr. 1917.
