This is an early Soviet manual on the technical drawing that was issued in the Soviet series 'School of Drawing'. This kind of illustration as unseparated part of manuals and textbooks gained immense importance during industrialization. The technical drawings supplemented words and sometimes could even replace the text fragment. This book features two techniques of the technical illustration, zincography and lithography, including the principles of colored print. The author explains how to create tonal or shading effects as well as the correct captions.
