Printed by Tho. Brudenell for John Stafford, 1651. Hardcover. Condition: Fine. 2nd Edition. Reissue of the 1651 edition. Additional engr. pictorial title by R. Vaughan dated 1652. [10], 440, [20], 441-599 (recte 596)pp. 43 portraits vignettes of Protestant divines and theologians in the text. Lacks the portrait of Fuller. 4to old calf old marginal paper strengthening to red and black printed title. There is a pencil note in the front which says "An exceptionally fine copy. I had it rebound about 1930." Gilt edges.
