Part of the Anglistica & Americana Series. Books are tight, square, and unmarked. Book Conditions: Near Fine; slight paper scar on FFFP where sticker was removed. No DJs. Red cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine and front board. 617 pp (244 in Vol 1, 373 in Vol 2) 8vo. Grosart was a nineteenth century Scottish clergyman and literary editor who reprinted a number of earlier English writers. Cowley (1618-1667) was one of the leading English poets in the seventeenth century who was buried in Westminster Abbey between the ashes of Chaucer and Spencer. A clean very presentable set.
