Internally mainly clean and tidy, with a little marking / darkening to the pages. French and Latin facing pages help with the translation / reading of the text. Originally published in 1827, this was abridged from a longer Latin primer by Lhomond. Overall an attractive copy of this reprint. Charles François Lhomond (1727–1794) was a French priest, grammarian, and educator who was a native of Chaulnes, Somme. [iv], 182. pp. 140 by 90mm (5½ by 3½ inches). . A l'intérieur, l'ouvrage est propre et bien rangé, avec un peu de marques et de noircissement sur les pages. Les pages en français et en latin aident à la traduction et à la lecture du texte. Publié à l'origine en 1827, cet ouvrage a été abrégé à partir d'un abécédaire latin plus long de Lhomond. Dans l'ensemble, un bel exemplaire de cette réimpression.
