Includes 61 color plates and comments of the quilts; checklist and essay from the Whitney Museum of American Art catalogue, "Abstract Design in American Quilts"; exhibition schedule, American Pieced Quilts I & II, Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, 1973-1974. Signed by the author on a presentation label pastedown on front endpaper certifying the first edition, numbered 560 out of 1000 limited edition signed copies, specially bound and boxed. 230 pgs. Tiny minor scuff mark to top of front cover; tiny mark to lower outer edge. Slipcase has a tiny corner crease on pictorial label pastedown; minimal rubbing to lower edge. Scarce.. Signed by Author. Limited/Numbered First Edition. Hard Cover in Slipcase. Fine/Fine. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
