New York: Longmans, Green, & Co., 1906 xiv, [2], 227pp, with the full page map and tissue-guarded frontis-piece intact, bound in gilt illustrated red cloth, with the binding tight, back hinge cracked, illustrated throughout. Interior foxing, with some page corners turned. From the personal collection of Dr. Brooks Ryder (1918-1995), graduate of Harvard College, Harvard School of Public Health, and Tufts Medical School. Known for his Public Health expertise overseas, throughout East Africa and Indonesia.
