(Account book of customers and suppliers, 1904) by Ledger Gardener's account book (Horticultural /Gardening Nursery in Norfolk, unnamed):

Norfolk, 1904 Account book, bound in thin black cloth with gilt Ledger to front cover and gilt border lines, marbled endpapers; A-Z section at front then 77 numbered account pages. Completed in ink (copperplate handwriting), showing customers alphabetically at front, then each named customer's purchases of plants, shrubs, trees etc, at different dates in 1904, and at the end purchases made by this company from other nurseries. There is no information as to the name and address of this nursery but it was in Norfolk (probably North Norfolk) from most of the customers' addresses, and was obviously a prestigious supplier- customers listed include various Norfolk landowners (egs. J.H. Gurney of Northrepps Estate, R.H. Ketton of Felbrigg Hall) and King Edward 7th at Sandringham. Good condition: the pages are very good, but the covers as to be expected are worn and rubbed, with spine partly detaching, and the front endpapers detached (present).
