About This Item

Very good. No inscriptions. Minor browning / imprinting of print from fold-out map. Generally clean and tight. 310pp + 10pp index. Engraved portrait frontispiece, fold-out map and 9 further plates, some hand coloured (collated & present). The first edition (a further edition was printed later the same year). Attractively bound.
