First edition hardback in original dust jacket , stating first printed 1935 on verso title page and dated 1935 bottom title page , pale blue boards with black titles to spine and front , no inscriptions , no spine lean , no tears to pages , corners are pushed , spine tips are pushed and minor wear , spine not faded , top tip edge yellowed , usual page toning with age , a few small white dots to pastedowns , in original jacket that is not faded , not price-clipped showing 7/6d net on spine , corners rubbed , verso toned , just one tiny closed tear , a few creases to jacket front and back panels , a scarce title in original jacket , not a remainder , not an ex-library copy.
