Albany, NY: J. Munsell, 1863. Hardcover. VG-, with 2" split to green cloth binding at base of front gutter, wear spots on red paper boards. Contents VG, including bookplate of Charles H,. Hart and old bookseller's catalogue entry pasted in upper left corner of inside front board. Red paper-covered boards half-bound in cloth, Roxburghe style. Top edge gilt (T.e.g.) . 114 pp. with much additional tipped-in material from contemporary newspapers at the end, column-style. Quite scarce. This copy has a gift inscription from the author to Charles H. Hart pasted into the front of it, as well as Hart's bookplate. Very nice. NOT A POD!
