London: Constable & Company Limited, 1932. One of the most delightful books in the Shavian canon, due to the nineteen wood engravings by John Farleigh (1900-1965) that grace it. This is a Very Good (Plus) to Near Fine copy of the First Edition (December 1932). Illustrated paper-covered boards in black and white; white lettering on the front cover and spine. Clean text; 75 pages.There is a rather attractive bookplate on the front paste-down. Rubbing at the margins, but still an extremely handsome book. Lacking the scarce glassine dustwrapper; in an archival plastic protector.. First Edition. Pictorial Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
