George Meredith was an English novelist and poet of the Victorian era. He is best known for his works, 'Diana of the Crossways'. and 'The Egoist'. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature seven times. In full crushed morocco binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the edges and some fading to the spine. Light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages slightly age-toned but otherwise very bright and clean. The occasional handling mark throughout. Very Good Indeed
