Quarter bound in publisher's blue cloth over blue boards, black, blue, white, yellow, and red lettering on spine, two black embossed medallions, and author's initials, lavender, on cover, yellow endpapers. Illustrated with wood engravings by Ilya Schor. Translated from the Yiddish by Tamara Kahana, Sholom Aleichem's granddaughter. . The volume is in virtually perfect condition, unmarked, tight, square, and clean. The scarce unclipped dust jacket has only minor chipping at the head of the spine only, and the spine is mildly sunned, else near fine. NEAR FINE/VERY GOOD. . B&W Drawings. 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
