London: Frederick Muller and Ascherberg, Hopgood and Crew, 1950. Gold titles on red block on tan coloured cloth boards which are very clean and unmarked with no wear. Internally there is light foxing to some page edges and to closed edges else clean, tight and unmarked. Dustjacket is price clipped with foxing G+. Not dated but British Libray has this as 1950. Here are the stories of some 200 musical compositions in the symphonic repertory, representing the work of 58 composers.
