London: George Bell. Fair with no dust jacket. 1883. First Edition. Hardcover. ads + xii + 220 pp + ads. Entirely in Latin. cum Praefatione Cuilelmi Wagneri. Original black cloth with typical blind stamped decorative design, corners bit bumped, spine gilt still legible, joint splitting at front, interior paper browning, otherwise clean and unmarked. Dobree was an English classicist and in these two volumes (only one volume included here) are his notes on various classical authors, including Plutarch, Thucydides, Isocrates, etc. ; 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall .
