Oblong quarto in aluminum slipcase, first edition, unpaginated, rough brown cardboard covers with silver lettering on front, aluminum screw binding. Text includes 25 recipe leaves separated by pages of commentary and quotes from various members of the drinking class. Most of this book is a hoax: The Paris club it is based on, Aerobleu, never existed, although I wish it had. The famous quotes presented here are legit, and the martini recipes sound OK although I have not tried any. The slipcase and the book itself are an unusual presentation that connoisseurs of book design will find interesting. Also a good bar-side conversation piece. Condition of this book: Fine, no flaws. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.…
