London: Henry G. Bohn, 1849. First edition thus. Hardcover. Very Good+. 8vo. [5], vi-xxiii, [2], 2-533, [3] pp. Blue-green publisher's cloth decorated in blind with gilt lettering on the spine. Publisher's advertisements on the endpapers and pastedowns. Translated from the German by E.J. Millington. A sharp example. Minor wear to the cloth and light foxing to the pageblock. A blindstamp on the half-title page.
