Original red cloth lettered in gilt on the spine and the front cover; endpapers offset; erasure to the top margin of page v (the preface), with minor surface loss; trifling signs of use and age; an excellent copy. The author was 'Late C.M.S. [Church Missionary Society] Missionary at Peshawar'.
