The peoples covered in this book all come from the Transkei and Eastern Cape areas of South Africa: Gcalekaland, Tembuland, Pondoland, Bomvanaland, the Mpondomise, Bhaca and Xesibe and Fingo. The dustjacket has a clear plastic protective cover. The dustjacket has much wear, creasing, marks, scuffing and closed tears. It is secure and comfortable. The boards have rubbing.
