About This Item

London: Starfire Publishing Ltd. 1997. First edition, first printing. First edition, first printing. Publisher's original black cloth boards with gilt titling to the spine, in Steffi Grant illustrated dustwrapper, which utilised The Yellow Mage by Aleister Crowley. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, with a knock to the top spine tip and some light bumping to the bottom tip. The contents are clean throughout and free from inscriptions or stamps, with the closed text block lightly spotted to the top edge and lightly marked to the fore-edge and bottom edge. Complete in the lightly rubbed dustwrapper, that is bumped and nicked around the extremities and lightly creased to the front panel, but otherwise free from fading, loss or tears. Occultist, ceremonial magician and writer Kenneth Grant (1924 - 2011) founded the Thelemic organisation, the Typhonian Ordo Templi Orientis and co-edited Aleister Crowleys major magical writings. Scarce in first edition and with dustwrapper. Reissued in 2016 in a limited edition of 750. Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request.
