Jacket is clean and unmarked, clipped, with chipping and small tears around spine ends, tear to lower rear edge. Focuses on three major themes of the age: the transforming element of technology; the effect of the population explosion; and nationalism, the major ideological force for change in the 1800s. 336 pages including Bibliography, Chronological Tables, and Index. 9.75" x 7".
