About This Item
155-159 pages with figures and cited references. Quarto (11" x 8 1/4") bound in original publisher's stapled wrappers. Current Anthropology Volume 11, Number 2 complete issue. First edition. The Ahtena tomahawks have speical significance, not only because they are rare, but also because they demonstrate the artistic skill of the Athapaskan Indians of this area-a skill that, as Osgood points out, has often been underestimated. It is encouraging to see how examination of even a few specimens can reveal substantial new knowledge and raise question for further study. Condition. Some edge war with tears, corners bumped else very good.
