In the original blue-gray wrappers and bound by Zaehnsdorf in full red crushed morocco with silk endpapers, t.e.g., the spine with vertical gilt titles, the covers with double-ruled borders and large panels of densely gilt roses and vines, dentelles. A Zaehnsdorf exhibition binding with the appropriate mark on the rear endpaper.
With the leather bookplate of W. A. Foyle, Beeleigh Abbey, and two bookplates of John Morgan, book collector.
