Cream colored cloth slipcase with a burgundy totem illustration on the cover. Burgundy buckram over cream colored cloth boards, with a burgundy totem illustration on the front cover and gilt lettering on the spine. Hand numbered and signed by the Rowell and McPhee at the colophon. The book is a lovely photographic survey of the landscapes and people of Alaska, with complementary text accompaniment by John McPhee. McPhee's text is taken from his book "Coming Into the Country", which served as inspiration for the photographer's journey to Alaska. Slipcase with smudging and light staining. Slipcase in good-, binding and interior in near fine condition overall.
