Cover has a light stain on front, deep scratch on back, and some rubbing to spine, which affects title. Interior very good, clean in sound binding. The author traveled with a government committee through Alaska. Chapters include: The "Inside Passage"; Phases of Life on Beiring Sea; Nome and the Gold Fields of the Seward Peninsula; The Seal Islands; Alaskan Fisheries; Indians of Alaska, etc. Excellent period photos.
