About This Item
Gruppo Editoriale Fabbri, 1983-01-01. Paperback. Very Good. 0x0x0. Text in Italian. Possessing a chamber Leica , Rodchenko began photographing balconies, stairs, windows and walls, giving ordinary, everyday object a new interpretation, with miter cuts and unusual points of view.Minor shelf wear, binding tight, pages clean and unmarked. In 1928 Rodchenko wrote: "If you want to teach the human eye to see in a new way, you must show everyday objects and family perspectives and angles and totally unexpected in unexpected situations; new objects should be photographed from different angles to provide a complete representation of the object. "At the end of the twenties the position of Rodchenko became, however, more and more difficult. His way of photographing was considered too "formalist" and, with the advent of Stalinism and an aesthetic status, the prosecution became quite serious. Photographers like Shaikhet Al'pert accused Rodchenko and follow in the footsteps of photographers "Western" as László Moholy-Nagy and Man Ray .Rodchenko was also accused of giving too much importance to the aesthetics at the expense of content, thus betraying what was considered true photojournalism . Later, he was banned her photographs of young pioneers: their eyes turned towards the sky was interpreted as a message dreamlike and fantastic, not in line with the ideals of the regime.
