Acknowledgements, introduction by Alfred Hitchcock. 1/4 black coloured cloth covered back strip with yellow coloured titles. 3/4 yellow coloured boards with self embossed titles to the front panel. Illustrated dustwrapper with gold orange and black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. 27 stories with ranging from humorous suspense to spine-tingling terror. Contributors include Frederic Brown, Philip K. Dick, John D. MacDonald and Michael Gilbert. . Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with a little rubbing of the book corners. Age toning of the text block edges and pages. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners, back strip edges and a little to the edges. Creasing of the edges and there are a few small tears. The dustwrapper is rubbed, stains and shows handling marks. Sunning of the back strip and remnants of a sticker can be seen to the lower edge of the back strip. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
