Black coloured cloth covered boards with metallic light blue coloured facsimile signature of Alfred Hitchcock to the front panel; and metallic light blue and red coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. 25 stories that gave the compiler – Alfred Hitchcock – pause. Contributors include Basil Copper, Damon Knight, fits Lieber and Donald E. Westlake. 20 stories , Both macabre and horrifying selected by Alfred Hitchcock. Contributors include Ray Bradbury, Dorothy L Sayers, Michael Gilbert and Richard Matheson. . Softening of the back strip with rubbing of the book corners. Age toning of the text block edges and pages. A previous owner has placed their ex plate plate to the lower edge of the front paste-down and placed their name, in blue coloured ink, to the top edge of the same page. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. Creasing and some tearing of the top text edge with rubbing of all edges and of the panels. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
