Illustrated end pages and the decorations within the text have all been drawn by Arthur Shilstone. Colour illustrated laminated boards (wraparound), again by Arthur Shilstone, with white, yellow and black coloured titles to the front panel and white and yellow coloured titles to the backstrip. 11 short stories of crime fiction, written by such people as Agatha Christie, Cornell Woolrich, Ellery Queen and John Dickson Carr, to mention but four, for the young adult reader. Softening and a little chipping of the backstrip edges with bumping of the book corners. The underlying board is visible to the book corners. Rubbing of the book edges and some sunning of the backstrip. Age toning of the text block edges, and, lighter age toning of the pages.
