Orig. blue cloth, black stamped titling and violin devices. 171 pp. Colour frontis, B&W illustration in text. Spine and edges sunned. Spine slightly cocked. Foxing to edges of text block. Ink ownership inscription, bookseller's ticket to ffep. A girl named Alice visits a symphony concert and, through the portal of a tuba's bell, enters Orchestralia, where a bass viol escorts her and introduces her to a variety of animated musical instruments.
