A VHS video tape of a reading which took place on January 9, 1989 in Los Angeles and an interview by journalist Evelyn White with Pulitzer Prize winning author, Alice Walker. The reading included selections from her works Revolutionary Petunias and Other Poems, Horses Make a Landscape Look More Beautiful, The Color Purple, and The Temple of My Familiar. The interview took place in Ms. Walker’s home in northern California. Running time 1 hr. Fine in a plastic video case with a photo of Ms. Walker on the front by Jean Weisnger.
