Large Quarto (265x205mm) blue pictoral gilt cloth (tips slightly worn) [6]+180pp endpapers foxed, bookplate 'Joyce Mellows' dated 1929 on FEP. Some fore-edge foxing, 30mm tear without loss on first leaf after title, else V.G. *Beautiful colour plates by Hudson, with tissue guards and amusing two-colour illustrations throughout the text.
