This is a charming, antique retelling of Cinderella, "ALL ABOUT CINDERELLA" - Retold and Illustrated by John B. ("Johnny") Gruelle (best known as the creator of Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy). 1916; Cupples & Leon; New York. Nicely illustrated throughout in both color and black & white. The book is smaller in size - it measures 5 1/2" tall x 4 1/4" wide.
Condition:
Clean covers and spine. Tiny tear to the paper at the bottom-right corner tip of the front cover, and at the bottom edge of the spine. Tight binding with no loose pages. There is a split at the spine between pages 12 /13 and 24/25 (though the pages remain firmly attached). Occasional small stain/smudge here and there; the inner edges of pages 12 & 13 have a thin stain strip along the length of the page by the spine. There is a name written in pen at the top edge of the front pastedown. Overall the book is in Good+ condition.
