Spine slightly bumped at ends. Boards slightly faded. Corners slightly rubbed. Slight browning to endpapers. Author’s personal incription to main title p[age; “For Catherine S. Cherton(?) with love from Osbert. Athens 1954.” Else a clean and tight copy. 199 pp. Withcolour frontis and line drawings in text. Autobiographical, with line drawings by the author, remembering his childhood in Edwardian upper-middle class London.

The village has a by-pass now which means there is easy access to the village and ample space for parking. Our shop is directly on the main road through the village.
