HAS SOME LIGHT WEAR AT THE ENDS OF THE SLIGHTLY COLOR-FADED SPINE PANEL WITH A COUPLE SHORT TEARS AT BASE OF FRONT PANEL, MODERATE SOIL TO THE REAR PANEL, AND IS NOT PRICE-CLIPPED. A VERY NICE BETTER THAN USUALLY ENCOUNTERED COPY OF CALDWELL'S FOLLOW UP TO "ALL OUT ON THE ROAD TO SMOLENSK" AND HIS 3 JOURNALISTIC COLABORATIONS WITH MARGARET BOURKE-WHITE HIS SECOND WIFE. During World War II, Caldwell obtained a visa from the USSR that allowed him to travel to Ukraine and work as a foreign correspondent, documenting the war effort there. .
