Bangor, Maine: All Souls Congregational Church, 1962. Paper Wrappers. GVG. 69, [3] pp. 2 color plates tipped-in, 1 b&w photo. This is the author's copy, with his inked name on ffep. Ranlett was an editor at Youth's Companion and the author of Let's Go, Houghton Mifflin, 1927, a memoir of his service as an infantryman on the Blanc Mont Ridge in France during World War I, for which he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was the Head Librarian of the Bangor Public Library from 1937-1962. Edge wear and creasing to front cover. "Corrected copy" on front cover, pencil notes throughout, typed note stapled in. With letter from author's daughter laid-in. GVG
