About This Item

London: George Routledge and Sons, 1884. First edition. Leatherette (Faux Morocco). Fine. A Greenaway gem, with the deluxe leatherette binding, at a diminutive 10 by 7.5 cm. 12mo. Unpaginated, 24 pp. A Greenaway figure on virtually every page -- one illustration per month, then per season, plus frontis, page with vase, and two additional illustrations at conclusion. Light soiling on the edges of the leatherette. Offsetting on half-title -- probably there was a slip of paper or a card stuck here for a long period of time. Overall, a lovely, clean copy.
