SCARCE, First Edition, Warmly Inscribed by author in black ink on first free page, Johnston, an Iowa attorney wrote about his adventures on the west coast, primarily in California. They were printed in the Des Moines Register and Leader. 259 pages, Book is 7.5 inches in height by 5 inches in width. Publishers green cloth with bright gilt title to front board and spine, tight and square with tight hinges, very light edge rubbing. At least Very Good Plus probably closer to near Fine. In custom clear mylar sleeve. Bargain Priced and Shipped Immediately. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
