DJ: VG; chipping to cover at spine, along the front edge, and wear to the tip covers. Blue boards and spine with bright gold lettering on spine and the author's autograph in gold on front board. Alvin Owsley was a soldier, orator, diplomat, and a founder and Past Commander of the American Legion. Above all he was a great American who believed in worked for the good of his country. From VMI and WWI, he put his support behind FDR and became an American Diplomat in Rumania, Ireland, and Denmark. In the last portion of his life, he was a lawyer, rancher, radio analyst, and elder statesman. A clean and very presentable copy in Brodart mylar.
