Frontispiece portrait of Dr. Alister MacKenzie, founder member of The Alwoodley Golf Club and its first secretary. Green cloth with gilt lettering and illustration. Previous owner name "Barry Staley", Alister MacKenzie Society member; else a fine copy of a scarce golf club history. The history of the Alwoodley Golf Club, the very first course designed by MacKenzie in 1907; it is regarded as one of the finest inland courses in Britain.
